Have you ever been indecisive about choosing a new show to watch on Netflix? You want a show that captivates your interest throughout the entirety of its runtime. One that isn't like its counterparts and remains interesting after the first three episodes. Well, here's a suggestion: watch Stranger Things! Stranger Things is an American science fiction-horror web television series created, written, and directed by the Duffer Brothers. It was first released on July 15th, 2016. The Duffer Brothers developed the series as a mix of investigative drama alongside supernatural elements portrayed with childlike sensibilities. You've probably heard of the show several times due to the attention and popularity it has gained amongst audiences of all ages. Many people have been captivated by this show because of its storyline.
The show is set in Indiana, 1983; a young boy, named Will Byers, disappears into thin air. As a result, his best friend Mike (Finn Wolfhard) sets off to find him in the woods, where he discovers a strange little girl (Millie Bobby Brown) and learns about her secret life in a lab. Many young teens are anxiously waiting on the release of the third season, which isn't expected to arrive until 2019. Overall, the show has gotten a ton of positive feedback from various media outlets. According to one article from the New York Times, "If you haven't already had enough 1980s nostalgia--a big "if" for anyone who watches a lot of television these days--Netflix's Stranger Things is a tasty trip back to that decade and the art of eeriness without success." Similarly, those at NEST+m who have already watched the show provided positive feedback as well.

When asked the same question, Madison Loughlin '22 said, "I thought that the acting was superb, and the plot was also very intriguing and unique. I can't wait for the third season."These NEST+m students are looking forward to what holds in store for the future of the show.
